Great hamburgers. Great prices. Close to I-70. Good place to take a break when traffic backs up.
Delicious. I really enjoyed the lovely heated patio, and the staff were all very sweet. It took a little long to get served, but we weren't in a rush. I highly recommend the shrimp pasta. The sauce was amazing. The pork tenderloin was very tender and well prepared. The duck poutine wasn't bad, and worth trying, but I would have liked with a different meat option.
Delicious dinner with a view of the creek. The duo that performed played everything from Van Morrison and the Grateful Dead to Willie Nelson. We totally enjoyed our dinner here!
Wow this place was fantastic! Awesome location on the far side of the roundabout by the creek. We got a great table on the back patio. Their signature burger was delicious, and holy cow did they have some beautiful cocktails. They all sounded delicious and every one we tried was a treat. I would definitely recommend Cooper's if you're stopping in town!
This place is great every time we have been. Sat outside by the river and took advantage of some happy hour deals. $2 off drafts and glasses of house wine plus 25% off the pub fare! The duck pot pie was so delicious with a flaky crust. I snagged some of my son's home made mac and cheese too! The view was pretty with the mountains, Aspens changing colors, and the river flowing by. Just an overall great experience. I love Georgetown and will be sure to dine here next time we are in the area!
Excellent food, excellent service, excellent drinks.. Upscale restaurant on the creek with a new, clean atmosphere.. The prime rib sandwich, chicken sandwich and butter squash soup were all 5 stars.. The long island tea was handcrafted to perfection. The view on the outside deck was beautiful overlooking the creek and the background mountains (enclosed and heated in the winter).. I highly recommend this place. Expect to pay about 20ish/pp with drinks.
This is a quaint little place. It was clean and the decor was fun. The service was effective and the food was amazing. I had the Cooper burger with Goat cheese. The food was cooked just as I asked for and seemed fresh. The pickles appeared to be homemade and were very good. I would recommend this to anyone traveling along the highway and looking for a hometown feel.
Everything was tasty. I cannot wait to come back the next time that I am in town. Their only half-miss was a so-so Old Fashioned (needs Luxardo cherries or at least smoked honey/syrup for a bit more flavor).
It is expensive but what isn't in this part of Colorado. It was the best food I've had in Colorado and we visit this part of the country a lot. The service was very friendly and no long waiting. It is so peaceful and beautiful and the perfect memory to end your trip on.
Nice break from the long drive. Cozy & good burger choices. You can almost do everything online. Including your receipt.
The waitress forgot to order a couple things we had asked for and the fries were awful. Burgers ordered medium well we're very well done. Other than that the other food we ordered was decent.
My family stopped through on our road trip. We love the mountains. So when we went in and requested a booth by the window, for the view, we were thrilled to be seated on the patio by the stream that runs right by! Andy, our server, was very accommodating and she had great recommendations (including the black pepper aioli dressing). We were there for lunch and we were served very quickly! My sisters loved the bistro chicken sandwich and cheeseburger. Soup of the day (steak, vegetable, rice) was also unique and delicious.
Great environment and friendly staff. The food was good but not worth the price. $$$$
By only looking at the menu I thought this place was going to be expensive mediocrity, but I was so wrong. My server was wonderful and the food was excellent. I ordered the Forbidden Rice Stuffed Butternut Squash (vegan friendly) and the bananas foster cheesecake slice. The cheese cake was the best I ever had in a restaurant. Finding good meatless meals while traveling is a challenge but this really wowed me. The entree was light, fresh, filling, and well balanced. I don't drink often so I didn't pair any wine with my meal.
17th Wedding Anniversary: Details of my own experience?! This place is by far one of the BEST restaurants I've been to in years! Although I made reservations, they are very accommodating for on the spot seating. They have a covered patio feet from the creek that we got sat by n from there it was divine. Service, food, atmosphere plus location. Manhattan's to die for too. I would give this place 10 stars if I could. Go here and be delighted, cheers.
WOW was this place surprisingly amazing! Gorgeous interior, views right on the river, quick & friendly service, and some of the best food I’ve ever had! This place also offers some vegetarian options, the hemp burger was super tasty! Also the truffle fries are seriously addicting. This was the perfect place to stop at after a weekend of hitting the slopes.
A very pleasant eatery in Georgetown. Comfortable, pleasant ambiance, interesting historical decor, menu a step above traditional cafe type food and well prepared. Easy on/off access from I-70. Definitely recommend for a nice break from the trip up or down the mountain, especially in adverse weather.
Excellent food. Creative menu.Cozy, family friendly, yet food is high-end and the feel is very nice.
The view was stunning from the patio dining area. Absolutely to die for. The water even tasted better sitting next to the river. The price is pretty high though. Food was not bad 7 out of 10. But I would do it again just for the view.
We stopped in for a bite after hiking Mount Bierstadt, and were blown away by Cooper's. Delicious food, good beer selection, and the porch is literally on the creek. It's hard to get closer, unless you have waders on.Two of us had the burgers, which were great, but the trout...wow.Thank you for such a great post hike meal, it was much needed and very much appreciated! We'll be back again soon!
Very impressed with the timely manner that my food came to me. Zack was a great server. I ordered the Candied Hog Burger, loved it, and my wife got the Cooper burger. Both very good. The fries were a little tough but not a deal breaker.
The service here was fabulous, our waitress was very prompt and polite and made sure our seating was exactly what we wanted. The prices of the food are a little more than you would expect, but they focus more on quality than on quantity, as I personally believe most restaurants should follow. The quality of the Duck Pot Pie that I got was absolutely delicious! I added cheese curds into it which I highly recommend! The creek which is feet from the covered porch is very relaxing as you look out to the mountains all around you. All in all, the setting, service, and food was phenomenal! I will definitely bookmark this place and reccomend others to go here!
The food was delicious and the service was great!
Awesome atmosphere right on a creek. The outdoor seating is beautiful and refreshing. The staff is helpful and friendly and the food is delicious. The grilled romaine salad is AMAZING, very flavorful are unique. The burrata caprese is good, nice for a small appetizer. The olives and nuts on the pub fare was a nice snack to have a lot with a meal. And their chicken entree was good but wasn’t outstanding. The potatoes kind of seemed instant. Overall great place with a beautiful atmosphere.
The burgers are yum! The views are great. I love sitting on the back porch when available. This place does not ever disappoint.
I ate the Jackalope and you should too! The fries are tasty but I had a side of Brussels and they were amazing!! I will quarter mine and grill them at home now! All the way from Youngsville La., 15 min wait and well worth it. :)
My wife and i took a quick drive through Loveland Pass and stopped here for an early dinner on the way back to Denver. We arrived around 4pm which was perfect because they have a happy hour menu which was 25% off and most items were good enough for an entree. My wife ordered the duck pot pie and I ordered the cooper burger with cheddar and candied bacon ($2.00 extra). The burger was delicious with a lot of flavor and the fries were a perfect cut and cooked just right. The duck pot pie seemed big at first but the portion at the bottom of the skillet that it came in was pretty small. My wife liked it but would have liked more. We sat near the fire place which was nice after freezing up at Loveland Pass. We also had very good service. We hope to return again soon.
Love your service and food. Daughter even shock the waiter with us ordering her artichoke for lunch. Will be back again soon.
Excellent place. We were in the area while on vacation and just stopped in for lunch. The food was excellent, I had a mixed drink which was also good, and the back patio was nice and gave a good view of the creek. Highly recommend.
The brussel sprouts were so good. Tender inside while slightly crispy in the outside in a sweet and sour sauce. Really good to share. I also had the Creole butter shrimp which had a surprising balanced flavor that make it incredibly easy to blink and see that the fairly large dish has disappeared. The drinks were on point as was the service. The staff helps make you feel at home. Not to mention very knowledgeable about anything having to do with the mountains
Amazing food, great drinks. Family friendly and excellent service and staff, we will return for sure.
This restaurant was very disappointing. They price and portion as if they were a high dining restaurant, but they lack the quality to deliver. The meal was very expensive for small portions and disappointing flavor. My 10oz prime rib was mostly fat, poorly seasoned, and cost 35$. There are few worse feelings than feeling swindled and disappointed by your food. Don’t let it be you.
Would absolutely recommend trying this place. Great vibes, delightful food, great customer service. Keep it up.
Service took a while. But that is about right for mountain town spots. Food was okay. I’d go back. Good beer selection.
We were from Michigan visiting the mountain city of Georgetown and stopped into Cooper's for lunch.. we were Seated on a deck next to a flowing Creek, a beautiful setting. The cuisine is very unique with some great spices to add a little bit of heat to the taste..the preparation of all our meals was wonderful and the service was great. They also provide a great selection of draft beers and cocktails..highly recommended
Amazing food! Amazing service! Amazing drinks! Great views! We were extremely impressed with every aspect of this place. I ordered the Zen burger and substituted it for a veggie patty. It was so delicious and flavorful. To drink I ordered the winter whiskey. Great mix and flavor! We sat out on the covered, heated patio that sits right above the creek. What a wonderful experience. Our server was Sean, he had the perfect rhythm as far as service goes and was very knowledgeable . We will definitely be back!
Stopped on our way out of Western Colorado. It is situated next to the creek which makes for an enjoyable experience. Friendly staff and food was out of this world. Little gem of a place for a good cold drink and great food!
Stopped here with a coworker several weeks ago and had to bring my wife by. Nice clean seating area. You can sit out back and hear the stream pass by. I got the cooper burger and the gorgonzola is beautiful! Thank you for back to back enjoyable dining with excellent music!
Good place to eat. The view on the patio, next to the creek is so worth it! The staff was friendly. The food was good. The fries were under seasoned, which was disappointing. Everyone wants to eat great fries.
Outside dining area with closures for seasonal seating. Music was a bit too loud to hear the creek. Food was a bit over cooked from order but combinations of flavors made up for it. Hostess was ready to talk, wait staff seemed preoccupied but knew the menu and didn't have to write down orders. Knowledgable about the beer selection always a plus!
We ate lunch here, and it was a great lunch. My sandwich was grilled chicken and brie, and it was well made. It needed an extra "something" to get five stars, which it didn't have. My wife also enjoyed her sandwich. My daughter said that her Mac n Cheese was edible, but not great. I tasted a bit, and it seemed like Velveeta and shells. Of course, having a seat next to the creek was a great way to eat lunch.
This was a really good find for us. I absolutely loved all the pictures on the wall because it shows so much history. There’s really not a lot to do in Georgetown unless you want to go out there and do the train, Georgetown loop. The food was fantastic. We loved the Gorgonzola burger. Split a Ruben and the fries were good.I WOULD go back.
We got there for happy hour! 25% off bar food and 2 dollars off most beer and wine. Very nice meal while waiting for traffic to clear going up the hill!
We stopped here for lunch and it turned out to be a great choice! We had burgers and they were well prepared and very tasty. Highly recommended!
Had a wonderful Reuben sandwich. Not huge, sloppy, or stuffed with corned beef, but a perfect sandwich on marble rye that was perfectly toasted. Came with very thin, hot, fresh french fries. The burgers sounded and smelled wonderful, too. Great service. A fun and buzzing place on a beautiful Fall Sunday afternoon. We were seated on the back, enclosed deck which overlooked a wall of trees with bright yellow Fall leaves. The front room was darker but had a fireplace in the far end.
We were expecting an intimate, romantic, high end dinner experience and this isn't the place, but the restaurant is acceptable. There's a heated outdoor seating area, football games on TV in the bar area, kids running through the dining area. The food menu is decent, the cocktail menu reaches a bit. Burger was good, trout was cooked beautifully. Perhaps adding a bit of mixed greens to the trout, quinoa plate would elevate the dish? Seemed a bit understaffed, although our server Sean was attentive, just very busy waiting tables and running the bar. Dessert was delicious; creme brulee was perfection.
Simply amazing!! Stopped by this quaint little town in the mountains for some dinner, and found this little gem of a place. The food is delicious and the views are just spectacular! I highly recommend this restaurant for dinner!
This is clearly one of the most pleasant place to eat in the area. Always when I go there I am greatly glad. They manage their very high standard service and the highest level of food they provide. You surely will enjoy this this restaurant. Very recommended.
We have hosted groups of automotive media here during our winter driving events. They always impress with their excellent service and amazing food! We highly recommend supporting this restaurant.
Amazing customer service from the owner and waitress. You will be treated like family. So accommodating to dietary needs. One of the most flavorful burger patties I’ve had!
